Marilyn Louise Hill peacefully passed away on October 23, 2023 in Louisville, Colorado, at the age of 94. Born on December 7, 1928, in Gothenburg, Nebraska, Marilyn was the youngest of ten children born to Lars Walfred and Sarah Louisa Larson.
Marilyn was a dedicated homemaker and mother who poured her energy into caring for her family. She was a loving and committed individual, always ensuring the well-being of her six children. Marilyn’s nurturing nature and unwavering dedication made her a pillar of strength for her family.
Marilyn received her education at Gothenburg elementary school and high school. She cherished her formative years in Gothenburg where she laid the foundation for a life filled with love, compassion and devotion.
She is survived by her daughters Sandra Sinclair (Mark), Marsha Elliot (Richard, deceased), Rhonda Cook (Larry), Debbie Curtis (Tony) and sons Stephen Hill (Sally), and Daren Hill (Wendi), 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Marilyn’s husband (Elmo B. Hill (whom she was married to for nearly 68 years) and her parents, as well as her nine brothers and sisters, preceded her in death.
Marilyn’s services will be held on October 30, 2023 at 10:00 am. Friends and family will gather to celebrate her life and honor her memory at the Arvada Covenant Church, where she found solace and community.
Marilyn Louise Hill will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, dedication and selflessness will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones. May she rest in eternal peace.
