Lori Lynn Cordova was born to Jake and Dee Cordova on January 3, 1966 in Denver, Colorado. Lori was welcomed by her older brothers Donnie and Brian. Lori attended Dennison and Notre Dame Elementary school, Kunsmiller Junior High, and Kennedy High School. Lori worked at the Department of Social Services and Gates Rubber Company Clinic until launching Champagne and Bargain movers with her husband Larry where she worked 24-7 with her permanently attached Blue Tooth.
Lori was good at everything she did until her arthritis prevented her from participating, and even then she periodically would surprise everyone with a series of back flips on the trampoline, bowling a strike, or playing a set of tennis. Lori loved everyone and packed more fun into her 47 years than some people do in a lifetime, maybe she knew something we didn’t. Lori’s greatest talent was being able to talk to anyone at any time, and those of you that know her, realize you were lucky to get a word in edge wise. Lori was the Happy in Halloween, the Merry in Christmas, the thundering boom in the fireworks display, the bubbles in the New Years champagne, the big red heart on Valentines Day, and the prettiest leaves you would see falling from the trees in Autumn. The term, one-of-a-kind is overused and undeservedly applied to people that are simply not worthy of that title. Lori Lynn truly is the original “one-of-a-kind” and will never be replaced in our thoughts and hearts.
Lori is survived by her husband Larry Garcia, daughters Brittany Winkelman, Jade and Jourdan Garcia, grandsons Dylan and Jake Winkelman, parents Jake and Dee Cordova, brothers Donnie Cordova and Brian Cordova, son-in-law Ryan Winkelman, in-laws Robert and Gloria Garcia, sisters-in-law Dymphna Cordova and Liz Hanson, brother in-law John Hanson, Grandmother Marge Cordova, her only niece Chase Cordova, and her beloved Chihuahua’s Chloe, Gizmo and Pinto.
