Linda was born in Fort Morgan, Colorado to John and Katie (Sagel) Kembel, the second youngest child of thirteen. She married Kenneth David Klein on June 2, 1962, and together they raised one daughter, Wendy, and two sons, Bradley (Karen) and Lorin (Sookhee).
One of Linda’s true passions was playing the piano. From a very young age, she was able to play almost any song by merely hearing it once or twice -- and as a result, she never learned to read music. She joyfully shared her musical talents by performing for the residents at The Meridian senior living facility in Englewood, Colorado and for the guests at the White Fence Farm in Lakewood, Colorado.
Linda’s greatest pride and joy were her four granddaughters Hannah, Holly, Lily, and Riley -- and she had a uniquely special and loving relationship with each of them. Being from a large family, most of Linda’s best friends were her siblings and she felt blessed that she remained close to them throughout her life. She also loved being an aunt to her numerous nieces and nephews. Linda’s smile, independence, and joy for life will be missed by all that knew her.
A funeral service for family members will be held on Tuesday, January 5th, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Mortuary located at 7777 W 29th Ave, Lakewood, Colorado.
