Lillian R Adams passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in Denver Colorado. She battled kidney disease and was on dialysis for over 10 years, in addition to other health issues. Lillian was born to the late Clarence and Ruth Coonts in Deer Trail, Colorado on November 1, 1933. Lillian grew up in Colorado attending 14 different schools and later to Denver where she graduated at North High School.
She was married to Lyle (Bud) G Adams, and together raised four children in Denver, Colorado. Bud Adams preceded her in death on February 25, 2002.
She was a devoted, loving mother who enjoyed family cruises, fishing, Yahtzee and loved going to Black Hawk for gambling and the buffets.
Lillian is survived by her four children, Dwayne (Sue) Hartman, Linda (Georg) Faehnrich, Tom Adams (Billie Jo) and Jim (Kim) Adams; Eight grandchildren, Jodie (Shane) Ball, Richard Hartman Sr (Bryttnie), Lyle Dwayne Hartman, Daniel (Angie) Hartman, Belinda (Ryan) Hollingshead, Jeffrey Faehnrich, Derek Adams, (Rachael) and Jamie Rose Adams (Joe) Granato; Sixteen great-grandchildren, Joe (Charlene) Ball, Nick (Amanda) Ball, Zak Ball, Dakota Ball, Richard Hartman Jr, Kelsi Hartman (Blake), Brittney Hartman, Hailey Hartman, Naomi Hartman, Marsali Hartman, Noah Hollingshead, AnnMarie Hollingshead, Devon Faehnrich, Lindsey Faehnrich, Emily Faehnrich, and Lilly Rose Adams; Eight great-great-grandchildren, Edward Ball, Shane Ball Jr, Kathleen Ball, Kaileigh Burr, Delaney Ball, Byron Ball, Quinn Davis and Carter Davis.
She leaves behind a great companion and loveable dog, Romeo.
She is preceded in death by her four brothers and sisters-in-law, Elwin (Hazel), Darrell, Marvin (Retha) and Wesley (Mary) Coonts. Lillian (Aunt Sis) leaves behind a sister-in-law, Mina Coonts of Simla, Colorado, a host of devoted nieces and nephews, along with many caring friends throughout her neighborhood and medical personnel.
Mrs. Adams will be laid to rest next to her husband during graveside services at 2:00 PM on Mon. Jan. 3, 2022 at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery. Following that service, all are welcome to join the family for a Celebration of Life Reception to be held at The Wishbone Family Restaurant, 9701 Federal Boulevard
