Too many good times to count - not even photos of proof. Growing up with Kyle was so much fun. As a kid, he was one of my brother's best friends and as we grew up, we became best friends. We spent years together playing video games, skateboarding, roaming around our Arvada neighborhood, and having fun with the simplest things. We'll miss you dearly, friend. You are loved.

Im 1 of Jasons sons and didnt get to hang with Kyle much but the times I did were awesome.

 Kyle ended up giving my girlfriend at the time now wife tickets to a Avs game. 

He had to work that night and that showed who he was as a person. Huge avs fan but hands over tickets to go make money! Humble and a real dude!   Youll be missed Kyle! Rest Easy!

I never met Kyle. But I have read every message and story about Kyle, and together they paint a beautiful picture of a wonderful, funny and full-of-life young man. It brings tears to my eyes to think about how deeply you all miss him. He obviously loved well and was loved by all of you. I offer hugs and my deepest sympathy, and I pray for God’s comfort and blessings to be your source of hope. 

I love this photo of Kyle and I. We purchased season tickets together and would go down to the Pepsi Center early and set up a little tail gate session before every game and in this photo was about mid season and we’re both laughing so hard because the spot where we always parked had a sign that said “ NO TAILGATING”!!!! We laughed so hard at the fact for months we never noticed it! I’m gonna miss my friend so much. I love you my friend!

Oh my dear grandson, my heart is broken.
You always had a very special place in my heart. One of my fondest memories was when I turned 50 and you and your brother convinced me to go rollerblading with you. I did just fine until we got about a mile from the house, and went down a steep hill. Not knowing how to stop, because I had only skated with rollerskates, I fell and ripped the seat out of my shorts. Kyle was so worried that I had hurt myself, and started to cry, until I let him know that grandma was just fine, with the exception that my behind was in full view of the world. He began to laugh and did so all the way home. Can't tell you just how many times through the years that he brought back up and we laugh about all over again.  One of these days, we will meet again. Until then, you will always be in my Preyers. I love you now and forever.

I’m not sure there is anything that can be said to bring comfort to such a tragic time. Please know you all are in our prayers as well as Kyle, that he is in heaven and getting to see Jesus face to face.  This pic is an oldie but a goodie. God bless you all!

I had the joy of being best friends with Kyle for as long as I can remember. The starks were my home away from home and Kyle was like a brother to me.  I grew up across the street from Kyle in two worlds the imaginary and the real world. From pretending to be ninja turtles or power rangers to pretending knowing what we’re doing as we learned how to adult. Car rides home from chili’s or on the border wondering if we will make it home alive, to countless nights rushing back home risking our lives to make it back by curfew. From learning not to steal a pepperoni rolls from the mall at age five, to taking recycled wood from near by housing developments to build a skatepark in our front yards, and to being Mitches and Ryan’s best man at their weddings. I was by his side for most of the ride and got to know the good, the bad, and the ugly. Here’s a couple stories from each side.

The good- 
I’ll never forgot one year for Christmas one of us got a fake wrestling championship belt, who ever won the wcw wrestling video game tourney was champ and got to keep the belt. It took Kyle forever to beat either myself or Jeremy but when he finally beat Jer he ran and jumped for joy like the world ended, and jer was in such sustain and disbelief he finally lost to his little bro I’ll never forget how funny it was. 
Reminds me of how funny it was when we learned how to snowboard at Breckenridge. After we finally made it down our first whole run we laughed as Stacey and the rest of the group struggling to stand up to even get down the mountain falling over and over.  The falling again in and out of the hot tub later that night at the condo after a night at down stairs at Eric’s. I don’t think we ever heard that many cuss words until that night. We were all really sore and beat up but had a trip we would never forget. 

I have many memories

I remember camping at Flatirons one year,  Kyle, Jeremy and myself were hanging out by the campfire and talked about my time in the military .  Not sure how it was just the three of us, might have been everyone else was smart enough to get out of the rain.    He really cared and understood what we went through in foreign places away from family and friends.   I normally won't even talk about those time, but that night I did.  We really connected , most people can't understand what it is like.  He had amazing insight, and I think that conversation was from his soul.

Which brings up the next memory.  Kyle is the one who taught me all about how to moonshine, from making a mash, building a still, and a few phone calls later on how to actually distill it.  6 years later, still using his recipe! He even had the Moonshine dance" down pat.

 I remember all of us laughing our butts off one Christmas when Kyle and Jeremy were playing Giant Jenga in the garage.  All were "feeling pretty good", watching the two of them play, they were super intense, it was hilarious.  

Last one, we were in my garage one Easter.  I had a bunch of 12"x12" boards that we used to break in Tae Kwon Do.  We were sipping on moonshine of course, and myself Jeremy and Kyle decided to break boards.  I held the boards, Jeremy went first and broke a board.  Kyle told Jeremy that he didn't punch hard enough..so Kyle went next, hit the board so hard his fist kept going, the board flew into my eye.  Had my first black eye for weeks after that.

Kyle will be missed by all, his smile and personality were infectious.  Just had a way to make you feel good and smile.  He is up there with our Grandma, my Mom and Dad and his Uncle Mike.  See you soon Kyle.  We love you!!

My 2 favorite memories…

One holiday, I proudly watched him put a large scoop of butter the size of the roll on his plate, I knew at that point, we would get along….well until another holiday, I wasn’t as confident.  Lol. Because he did love his trifle.  As he was licking extra bits of trifle from the plastic  wrap, I playfully and gently pushed his face into the plastic wrap.  He laughed as he wiped cool whip off his face.

His upbeat energy, kind soul and bright smile will surely be missed.

Say hi to my brother Kyle. I’m sure he’s missed you and I’m glad you all can be roommates again. Thinking of your family and all of your friends and praying they find peace within and hoping they know you’ll always be there with them no matter what.

This picture will never not make me laugh

Where do you start sharing memories about some one when you have a million? I will never forget when Kyle attempted to teach me to bowl. By the third frame we gave up and just sat there drinking. The proud papa he was when he got Oreo and he was sure to mention my soon to be mama rock I had while rocking Oreo to sleep. He would introduce himself to Tate every time he saw him...even though he has been around forever. His hugs are my favorite part of family gatherings. Man, how his eyes twinkle. Every fourth of July party. Every random family get together. His sweet round little face. Heaven is one lucky place to have such an amazing soul. We miss him tremendously. We love you all immensely. ❤

My favorite memories of Kyle revolve around spending many 4th of July’s setting off fireworks, riding bikes and roller skates up and down the hills in my Aunt Stacey’s neighborhood and bickering like siblings. Over summer breaks he taught me how to play Mario Kart and forced me to watch him play WWE games on his Nintendo. There wasn’t a summer visit or Christmas holiday vacation that doesn’t have a Kyle memory in it, We were close in age so we challenged each other but I knew I had a life long friend in Kyle. I’ll miss him and his ability to make everyone laugh no matter the circumstance. 

There are so many memories of you from the 17 years living across the street from your grandparents, to now living next door to your mom.
Your smile and laugh were infectious and the love you had for your family was unprecedented.
One of the best memories I have is laughing so hard in your mom’s kitchen as Jason, Mike and you danced throughout the entire kitchen, with Alexa playing random old school songs. We laughed/cried and it was one of the best nights ever! I believe you even received a  Mike and Jason sandwich!
Or the time we haven’t seen you in awhile and you saw Cobe and said “what the hell happened to him”? When did he turn into a 6 foot beast I now have to look up to, as Cobe rested his arm on your shoulder. 
We all deeply enjoyed the time we were able to spend with you and will miss you very much.
Heaven was truly gifted a bright, blue eyed angel with a heart of gold. Love always❤️

Rocket loved his Uncle Kyle dearly, always enjoyed getting to show him how much and never wanted to leave his lap. 

Kyle was and will always be so very special to me. When I first met him he was so young just turning 18 when we pulled him into the meat dept. We quickly became pals as we got to know eachother.. I was newer to store 36 becoming his new boss and he was always so respectful and helpful. Such a big heart.. I will never forget walking out to my truck after work during snow storms and it would be cleaned off and my windshield wipers being lifted to find out it was Kyle. He was such a good kid.. I got the privilege of watching him grow up into such a great young man.. working with him as he developed and got promoted.  I was always so very proud.. he was a great leader to his team and always so very well respected. He could make me laugh like no other and his smile just brought out the best in everything and everyone. My girls loved him.. they even had nick names together with him.. he always called me Kristi Kane pink champagne.. I don't even remember how that really got started.. but I never even questioned it that was just our thing. And it was special. Even after moving in to a new future with another company he still always stopped by my store and came to see me. We always had a nice catch up chat.. some good laughs and a hug. As I said.. He was and always still is so very special to me. I am honored and privileged to have had the time to work with him and know him for over 13 years now. Kyle was  such a great guy... Amazing friend and special soul.. I will miss his awesome smile.. all of the laughs and just his great presence. Absolutely heartbreaking.. a beautiful soul taken away from us way to soon. You will always be close to my heart.. Never ever forgotten. Rest In peace Kyle. All my love and prayers to you and your family. 💕🙏💔

I have a thousand fond memories of Kyle. I saw him grow up from a little boy that would drive me crazy with Wes, to a thoughtful man with the biggest heart. Over the past few years he was one of my biggest supporters and we grew incredibly close. The last time I saw him he was dancing with my daughter in our living room. I'll never forget that. Thank you for being such a dear friend, Kyle... and like we always said to each other before we hung up the phone, I love you!

I am Kyle's uncle when he was 12 or 13 years old we went on a guys weekend camping doing some fishing he was terrified of the trout. By the end of the weekend I had him cleaning fish and cooking them. He became the seafood manager at King Soopers. Go figure

I shall always remember your keen sense of humor to laugh and have fun in all kinds of settings. Although I have not seen you in a while I have always carry memories of the time I was able to spend with you. May the Good Lord welcome you with open arms and walk with you eternally. Rest in Peace my brother you will be missed.
