Kim is preceded in death by her husband Gregory M. Luck, whom she loved dearly. They were married for 49 years. She is survived by her two sons Jesse C. Luck and William M. Luck, two nephews Frank A. Lauersdorf and Robert P. Gillespie, three nieces Jeannette N. Lauersdorf, Heather M. Lauersdorf, and Michele A. Lauersdorf, and granddaughter Isabelle M. Luck.
Kim was born to Natalie H. Heide and Rudolph M. Lauersdorf and was lovingly raised in Lakewood, Ohio with her two brothers, Carl and Johnny, and beloved sister Heidi.
Kim, fondly known to many as Kimmy, had many joys in life but loved sharing time with family and friends the most. She especially liked playing board games and cards with her husband and sons, along with her niece Jenny and nephew Frankie, whom she loved as if they were her own. Kimmy enjoyed swimming, bowling, amusement parks, picnics in the Valley, playing with her dogs, scrapbooking, seeing live music with her husband, family reunions, taking trips and gambling with her father. Kimmy had a great sense of humor and could get along with almost anyone. This was especially true with the people she worked, her family, and closest friends. Those that knew Kimmy best have many funny stories to tell. To say the least, Kim loved her “boys” and her husband Lucky more than anything in the world. She was loved and adored by them and will be greatly missed.
Kim will be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and dear friend.
Cremation services with family will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado on October 20th, 2023. A celebration of life picnic for Kim and her husband Gregory will take place in the Cleveland Metroparks in May 2024.
