69, Passed away peacefully in his sleep. Ken lived his life to the fullest with many adventures. Born and raised in the Palo Alto, California area, he learned to water ski, scuba drive, and even became a diving instructor. It was Ken’s love of Mountain outdoors and a promising job that brought him to Colorado Springs in 1980, and he knew this was his home. Ken was a Tool and Die Maker by trade, and in time owned his own business. At any given time though, he would escape and go off to do what he loved most: fishing, hunting and camping, and he was well known as camp cook for every hunting season. His love of cooking turned into many pig BBQ block parties, as well as some private parties throughout the years. The smile that he carried always made people feel welcome and invited into his life.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Duzanica Alber (Justin), his son Luke Duzanica, and his sister Dawna Duzanica Davenport (Tom). A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 6th, 2020, from 2:00-6:00pm at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80918. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Ken’s name to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, www.rmef.org.
