Kathy "GiGi" McCarthy

Kathy was born in Greeley Colorado on April 26th, 1951. She attended Greeley Central High School in Greeley, Colorado and graduated from St. Mary's High School in Cheyenne Wyoming. She attended the University of Wyoming and later graduated in 1978 from Sheridan College in Sheridan Wyoming with a degree in dental hygiene. She worked for 43 years as a dental hygienist, most recently for Dr. Vance Carlson before her retirement in 2015.

Kathy is survived by her two daughters and a son, Christen Church (Eric Church) of Littleton, Colorado. Kiley Edwards (B.J. Edwards) of Thornton, Colorado and Samuel Verfaille of Littleton, Colorado. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Knox Neuman, Madix Edwards, and Jaxon Edwards.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin McCarthy and Neva McCarthy and her brother, Pat McCarthy.

The funeral will be held at Crown Hill Mortuary in Wheat Ridge, Colorado on February 12th, 2022 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Planned Pethood in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
