It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Karen Jean Jolivette, who courageously lost her battle with cancer on November 28, 2024, at the age of 71.
Karen was a dedicated mother whose strength, love, and unwavering support shaped the lives of those she cherished most. She took immense pride in her children, Daniel and Tiffany, and never missed an opportunity to encourage them, celebrate their successes, and express her unconditional love. When her grandchildren came into her life, they became her greatest joy, and she delighted in spoiling them with boundless affection and love.
An avid sports enthusiast, Karen’s passion for Colorado teams was unmatched. She cheered with unshakable loyalty for the Broncos, Avalanche, Rockies, and Nuggets.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Tiffany; Grandchildren, Alexis and Caden; Siblings, Mike (Shelley), Steve (Caty), and Carol (James); and many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel (Lindsay); husband, Kirk; and both parents, Dean and Betty.
The viewing will be open to family from 4-5pm on Monday, and friends from 5-7pm December 9th, 2024. Karen’s Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, December 10th at 1pm in the Pavilion with graveside services to follow at 2pm at Olinger Crown Hill – Wheat Ridge, CO. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations towards her funeral expenses be made. Please ask a family member how to help.
Karen’s memory will forever live in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
