Our dear mother Karen Sue Brown sadly passed away on December 11th, 2024, at the age of 78. She was a wonderful Mother and Friend who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She was a cherished friend, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, and love. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Brown, Sister, Marion Beardsley and Brother Robert Howard and leaves behind Daughters, Regina(James) Rivera and Angela(Paul) Combest, five grandchildren, James, Bryan, Holly, Jacob and Carson a Sister, Shirley Sweetser and many Nieces and Nephews along with countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity. She was born in Denver, Colorado. Karen Sue attended Horace Mann Jr High and North High School. Karen worked the majority of her years for Adams District 50 schools and over thirty years at Regis University.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, December 27th at 1:00 pm at Olinger Crown Hill in the Pavillon of Reflection at 29th and Wadsworth, Wheat Ridge, CO. Please join the family for a reception immediately following at Northwest Eagles Aerie 4019 at 8800 Federal Blvd, Federal Heights, CO 80260.
