Learned of Jon's passing just a few days ago. The news is so bittersweet. I am so very happy to see that he was able to have the children and grandchildren he so deeply wanted. So saddened that his time to be with them was cut far too short. Even though our marriage and years together had run it's course over 20 years ago, I had kept the belief, that this good man, would find his path to happiness. I pray that his life was full of joy and that those who came to know him, gained something from the experience and continue to carry him with them.
I will always remember Jon, his music, his writing, his singing, his performing, his kind and gentle heart.
I am sorry for the loss his family has been left with.

Jon was a friend of mine from kindergarten to graduation in 1978.  He was a wonderful person. I lived just two blocks from his family and remember spending time at his grandmother's house around the corner when we were little.  My wife Linda was also friends with him and lived on the same street too.  We'll miss you Jon! Thank you for being such a great person! God Bless You and everyone whose lives you touched. You will be missed!

I grew up with Jon (backyard neighbors) and have such fond memories of him and his family.

  As a former highschool classmate of Jon's, I was saddened at the news of his death. His passion and perseverance for his love of music was a great gift of soul that brought something to all of those he touched. We have all been blessed by his life.

I worked with Jon at Dish Network. He came to my team when he got out of training. He was such a nice person and will be missed. I am very sorry for your loss.

Jon and I were very close friends growing up. From sunday school (age 5...), church choir, high school music, sports, etc., into early adult life, we found common bonds in life experience, music and arts, and faith journeys. His  dreams, creative expressions and his love inspired many. I wish I could attend his memorial. I send my sympathy to all. May God's peace comfort you.

I can't tell you how shocked and saddened I am to find out about Jon's passing. Jon and I have been friends for over 25 years and played in a couple of bands together.
As our paths crossed off and on over the years I always found that we could connect as if we had just spoke the day before. He was a truly good person and he will be missed by everyone that was fortunate enough to have known him.

I know that you don't know me but I used to work with Jon at Citibank in Bloomington MN.  He was a great friend and co-worker...I am very sad to hear of his passing....I know he is in a much better place but is always very hard...he was such a good person...always made me laugh...my prayers go out to you and your family.

Jon was a great friend and co-worker. He was extremely talented as a muscian. The thing I will miss most is talking with him and listening to him play guitar and singing. I have great memories of going to the winebar in Denver and relaxing with my husband while Jon played for all of us. Jon will be truly missed. I know he will be watching all of us.
