Jimmie was stationed in Germany until 1970, where he met his sweetheart, Gabriele, and brought her home to build his family. While joining the Reserves/National Guard he learned the trade of a Pipefitter; he returned to Active Duty with the Colorado National Guard because of his love for the Military and serving his Country. Jimmie retired in 2007 as a CSM (Command Sergeant Major).
Jimmie’s great love for teaching and serving his country allowed him to pass on a wealth of knowledge to the people around him. We were blessed with 71 years of having the BEST man, son, husband, father, grandfather and friend any family could have.
He is survived by his wife, Gabriele, his children Sean, Sandra, Jay, Samantha and their spouses. He also has 13 grandchildren (some with families) and 6 great-grandchildren.
He joined his Heavenly Father on January 31, 2020.
We will miss him forever and so very very much!
