Jan Skibinski passed away peacefully at her home in Golden on April 26th, 2022 at the age of 62.
Jan grew up in Texas and later moved to Colorado, where she met and married her husband Frank. Jan was a graduate of UM, and her business degree led to a career in varied industries including medical equipment, food services, and personal finance. She was an avid gardener and was designated a Master Gardener by CSU, and volunteered at local parks and municipal gardens. She grew many of her own herbs and vegetables and was an excellent cook. Jan was a dedicated dog owner whose pampered pup was showered with love. She and her dog could be found daily in local parks and on nearby mountain trails.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents Duane and Betty.
Survivors include her husband Frank, her brother Mike and his wife Elizabeth, as well as cousins Liz and husband Larry, and Bill.
Friends and family will hold a wake to celebrate her life.
