After a courageous battle with cancer, our beloved James Lucero Sr's life ended peacefully at home at the age of 77 on August 26, 2022. James was born on February 4th, 1945 to Lee and Josie Lucero in Johnstown, CO. He left behind his wife of 52 years, Eva Lucero, son James Jr. (wife Heather), daughter JoAnn (husband Rich), and grandchildren Kennedy, Isabella, Rylee and Andrew. He was also survived by four brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Charles & Marvin, and sister Betty. James was a proud Navy veteran and career electrician. He enjoyed spending time with family, golfing and giving back to his community. His unique character and infectious laugh will be greatly missed by his many friends and family members.
