Jack L. Wininger precious husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather past away with his loved ones surrounding his bedside. He leaves behind a brilliant legacy of life and love. There was no ski slope he didn’t tackle, no hike he hadn’t taken, no craft beer he didn’t try, no book he hadn’t read. He was a world traveler to countries most of us would only dream of visiting. A devoted Denver Nuggets/Rockies, KU, and Chiefs fan, AND he made the best damn homemade popcorn you’ve ever tasted with a hunk of cheddar cheese and dill pickle thrown on top! He was extremely intelligent, (spoke fluent French) well-spoken, well-read, and the best dang trivial pursuit player around! He’d kick your ass big time! He told us last week that mom was the strongest woman he knew and to take good care of her for him. They were married for almost 60 years this September. Our family will grieve this loss for the rest of our lives. He’s free from his mortal body and is in the presence of our LORD. Thank you Jesus for loaning him to the world for the past 80 years. It all went waaay too fast.
Funeral services to be determined at a later date.
