Hilmer Edwin Palisch, 100, passed away gently on August 20, 2018 in Lakewood, Colorado. He was born in Frohna, Missouri to Ernst and Cora Palisch on July 22, 1918. Hilmer was a proud member of the Army Air Corp. during WWII and served as a translator of intercepted German documents. He married Alice Laura Burroughs and had two beautiful daughters, Janice and Kathryn.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathryn (Charles) Woods and Janice Cianfrance (Richard Ransom). He had five grandchildren, Greg, Jenny, Jason, Derek, and Megan. He also had 13 great grandchildren, Maddie, Savanna, Noelle, MacKenzie, Joslyn, Caleb, Andrew, Jade, Walker, Cody, Madison, Jaden, and Khloe, and one great great grandson, Bentley.
Hilmer was preceded in death by his parents, Ernst and Cora, and his loving wife, Alice.
He will be missed greatly by his entire family and friends.
Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Olinger Crown Hill's Chapel of Peace. He will be laid to rest next to his wife, Alice, at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery with Military Honors following the Funeral Services at graveside.
