Helen Ruth Bostrom Ball

Helen had 13 siblings that are all in Heaven with her as of May 29, 2023. Helen had four siblings that passed away in Kana Russia before her parents immigrated to America in 1913.

Helen married Harry Bostrom on December 24, 1943. They had four children, Wilbert Bostrom (wife Sharon), Harvey Bostrom (Donna deceased), Sharon Duncan, and Keith Bostrom (wife Anita). She also had three step children, Harold, Bev, and Leonard.

Helen lived on the farm in Brush with Harry Bostrom until 1958. They moved to Denver in 1959. Helen worked for Denver General Hospital as a payroll clerk and cashier until retirement in 1985 with 16 years of service. Harry Bostrom passed away April 10, 1987.

Helen married Adam Al Ball June 12, 1991. Helen and Adam Ball enjoyed traveling in their motorhome throughout the United States. They visited every state in the Union. For many years they also traveled to Mission, Texas to visit her sister Mary Bostrom. While staying in the same park, they would polka-dance almost every day. Adam died June 7, 2021.

Helen Ball enjoyed Polka-dancing and going up to Black Hawk and playing the slot machines. She was very lucky. She seemed to always come home with what she went up with or more money in her pocket.

Helen enjoyed her sisters. They would go dancing on the weekends. Then, on the family picnics, they would always dress alike and sing happy little German songs. You always knew where the sisters were because they were fun-loving and happy people speaking and laughing with all of us.

Helen Ball had four children, Wilbert, Harvey, Sharon, and Keith. She had 14 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.

Helen enjoyed her life and always loved telling stories. She will be missed dearly by her family and all who knew her.
