Guy Humphrey was a lovely man from Wolfe City, TX. He spent 3 years, 5 months and 19 days in the U.S. Navy defending his country during World War ll. The rest of his life was devoted to 62 years of loving his wife Alli B Matthews and his four daughters.
While raising his family Guy was a high school English teacher, a girls’ basketball coach, and even was a school bus driver while attending college before earning his master’s degree in business administration from East Texas State University. Guy worked at Kraft Foods for many years as the office manager until his retirement in the early 1990’s. Guy was an active member of the church for 30 years, and affected the lives of every person that he came into contact with greatly and will be missed very much.
Guy is survived by his wife, Alli B of Westminster, his daughters, Donna Humphrey of Westminster, Terry Humphrey of Northglenn, Glenda Welch of Northglenn and Tammy Parker of Brighton, Colorado; His grandchildren Tristan Humphrey of Westminster, Devin Welch of Louisville, Jeromy Parker of Brighton and Macy Welch of Northglenn, CO; His sons-in-law Tom Welch of Northglenn and Tim Parker of Brighton, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Evrett & Mayme Humphrey, JR Humphreys, Nina Lumpkins, and Carlos Humphreys. He was loved by all, and will be greatly missed by friends and family. Thank you for everything you have ever done Guy Ray Humphrey.
