George R. "Dick" Hooper, 75, of Thornton, passed away March 18, 2012. George was born May 6, 1936 in Chadron, NE. He worked for the Rocky Mountain News for 39 years. Husband of Carole; father of Don Hooper, Ron (Cathy) Hooper, Sami Hooper, Steve (Theresa) Coon, Cheryl (Michael) Stabler & Jeannine Meeks; grandfather of Josh, Bryon, Kevin, Sean, Ryan, Aaron, Travis & Michaila; great grandfather of Gavin, Skylar, Britton, Katelynn & Tanner; brother of Jim (Louise) Hooper.
