Gail was born April 22, 1952 at Parkchester General Hospital in Bronx, NY. She was the daughter of George and Madeline (Avalone) Fortmuller. She was raised on Long Island, NY and resided at times in Dallas, TX; Los Angeles, CA; Denver, CO; and Las Vegas, NV.
Gail is survived by her husband, Harry Matthew Marshall, Stepson Harry Tyler Marshall, Siblings Linda, George, Dawn and Randy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gail's observance and remembrance was forcibly postponed by the pandemic until the summer of 2021, when circumstances finally allowed for a real time, real life, real tears, real hugs and kisses ceremony and celebration.
Her wish to be cremated has been fulfilled and she will have some ashes spread from New York to Hawaii with many points in between. Her final resting place will be at Crown Hill alongside her husband upon his passing. Gail also would have wished to remain among you and the world you live in. Should you desire, Crown Hill has a process to respectfully transfer ashes to you, to either keep in your possession or scatter as you see fit. Please just let me know.
Gail will be remembered for her guts and determination as a professional along with her compassion and honesty as a friend and family member.
Many a mention has been made of the virtues of faith, hope and charity. Gail always possessed faith in her ability, hope for an opportunity and the charity she shared when she succeeded.
