Evelyn J. White

Evelyn J White (Schlegel) was full of life--the true epitome of a groundbreaking strong woman. Born on Feb 25th 1939 in Denver Colorado.Taken to God on July 4th, 2023, at 84 years old, in Broomfield Colorado.

Evelyn (Ev) lit up every room she entered--not only because she was the sharpest businesswoman, golfer, and best dressed, but because her beautiful energy and smile followed her everywhere she went.

She guided our family with high standards and limitless love. A true matriarch.

Evelyn is survived by her husband Jim Sr. of 64 years. Their two sons and their wives are Jim and Holly White, Dave and Janet White and her grandchildren; Sam White, Allie White, Erika Lang and her husband James and Danielle Weaver and her husband Tyler.

Predeceased by her parents Sam Schlegel, Pauline Schlegel, and brother Paul Schlegel.

Evelyn White was our powerful, highly-respected, and loved matriarch. She was our family's foundation and guiding light. To match her powerful energy- she took over ownership of her beloved father and brothers' trucking company, established in 1935, and helped it thrive for 60 more years before retiring. She was our bright north star- full of wisdom, open-mindedness, and kindness, with a heart full of love for her family. She was limitless!
