Elaine Marie Howe, age 75 of Lakewood, Colorado lost her 3 year battle with cancer on January 13th 2022, at Collier Hospice Center in Wheat Ridge, CO. Her cancer, lacrimal gland (tear duct) adenocarcinoma is extremely rare. She chose to fight, and endured 4 major therapies during her 3 year battle.
Elaine was born September 12, 1946 in Great Bend, Kansas to Salvatore and Armella Bianchino.She was graced with three sisters, Anita McKown, Jeanette McRoberts, Marian Fields, and a brother Edward Bianchino. She was married to Jeffrey Howe on August 20, 1983 in Denver, CO.
Elaine graduated from nursing school in Hutchinson, KS, followed by a degree in Hotel and Travel Management from Metro State in Denver, CO. She worked at Saint Anthony’s Central and then at Driscoll Travel and the Travel Society.
Elaine is survived by her husband Jeffrey Howe, her siblings, Anita McKown, Langhorne, PA, Jeanette McRoberts, Brookfield, WI, Marian Fields, Lee’s Summit, MO, and Edward Bianchino, Overland Park, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Armella Bianchino.
