Dorothy Faye Hoffner

Dorothy Faye Hoffner, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on July 16, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Millie Paul, a son Joseph Feller, grandson Bryan Feller, siblings Vic Paul, Ben Paul, and Mary Heffner. She is survived by sons Jim Feller, Jerry Feller, wife Corrine, Greg Hoffner, Doug Hoffner, wife Donna, and Brad Hoffner, partner David Rudisell; sisters Marguerite Ingram and Francis Williams, husband Dutch; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Dorothy was born in Greeley and spent the majority of her life in the LaSalle and Greeley area, raising her family. She was well known for her green thumb, and grew large vegetable and flower gardens. Her grandchildren have found memories of the many hours of laughter around the large meals that their grandmother would prepare, along with batches of chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls.

The memorial service will be held Friday, July 23, 1:30 pm at The Johnson Center, 5000 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, CO. The inurnment to follow, 3:00 pm, at Olinger Crown Hill, West 29th Ave and Wadsworth Boulevard, Wheat Ridge, CO. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the either The Johnson Center, Employee Appreciation Fund, 5000 E. Arapahoe Rd Centennial, CO 80122 or Total Longterm Care, Attention Kristin Candella, 200 E. 9th Avenue Denver, CO 80203. Arrangements under the direction of Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, CO.
