Donald E. Westbrook, Sr., 88, was born on Sept. 11, 1933 in Denver, Colorado. He passed away on June 11, 2022 in Littleton, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his wife Loretta G. Westbrook, brother Ronald Westbrook, and son Gary D. Warren. He is survived by his sons; Skip R. Warren, Donald E. Westbrook Jr.
and Brian G. Westbrook, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Donald was born and raised in Denver, Colorado where he attended North High School where he was a member of the R.O.T.C all three years. He was a Korean War Veteran in the United States Air Force and was in the Navy Reserves. He joined the Denver Police Department on March 1, 1956 and retired after 26 years of service before retiring in 1982.
Some of his proudest moments (in his own writing) were having four great sons who achieved so many thing in their lives. They became great husbands and fathers. He was so very proud of each one and their wives and all his grandchildren. "I have been very blessed with my life."
Some of his proudest career accomplishments were being in the Denver Police Department for 26 years and owning a restaurant & lounge and making it successful.
