Bob was born on February 26, 1928 in the Netherlands and passed away peacefully in Golden, CO, at the age of 92, on March 27, 2020. Throughout his life, up until the end, he greatly enjoyed visits with family and friends and was always delighted to see them. He counted his blessings daily and was able to see the positives in any situation. He was tenacious and hard-working. He faced life’s challenges with perseverance, determination and maintained his sense of humor. He often quoted Winston Churchill’s inspiring words, “never, never, never give up”, and he lived by them.
He is survived by sons Gary and Henry and daughter Andrea and their spouses. Nine grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tonny; his sister Nell, and his brothers Tony, Cees, and Wijnand.
