Claudine Ruth Wilson, 77, of Douglas County, Colorado, passed away on December 13th, 2022. She is survived by her husband Lyle Wilson and daughters Traci Wilson and Lauren Cartwright, her five grandchildren Logan, Haleigh, Claire, Emma, and Jack, as well as her sister Martha and brother Jim.
Claudine was born in Burden, Kansas on January 16th, 1945 to Claude and LaVaughn Sitton. Claudine moved to Colorado in 1963 at the age of 18, where she began working at Martin Marietta and met Lyle Wilson (Jake). They were married in October of 1964. She had their eldest daughter Traci in November of 1968 and their second daughter Lauren in November of 1973.
Claudine was a selfless person with a kind and genuine soul. Her family was always her top priority and her greatest love. She was a devoted mother and an adoring grandmother, who never hesitated to serve and support her family without asking for anything in return. Her greatest interests included traveling with her husband Jake, reading books, spoiling her dog Biscuit, playing cards, games and spending time with her grandchildren. She was always admiring the beauty of nature and finding joy in all that life has to offer.
Claudine was preceded in death by both of her parents, as well as her granddaughter Jordan Richey. She lost a part of herself the day she lost Jordan, and there is such comfort in knowing they are reunited again and watching over us all.
She was a light in our lives and we will miss her dearly. There will be a small celebration of life for family and friends. Time and date are to be announced.
