Cindy was my mentor at Children's. She believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. Seeing her be what I wanted to be, changed me in many ways. Even years later, I am still learning from her words & strength. She is remembered and thought of often. 

I certainly remember those O"Dark Thirty transport calls (CODE 3 -lights and sirens) to Fort Morgan, Greeley, Estes Park etc. Your esprit de corps,camaraderie,and genuine friendliness were so appreciated in some very stressful environments. The EMT's and paramedics all liked and respected you. God Bless.

i will always remember Cindy, and how she was always glad to help everyone out, with her infectious smile.  she was one of the "greats" of humanity.
I will miss her for a very long time, but will always have my wonderful memories of her.

I am so deeply saddened to hear about Cindy. My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones and many friends.

Cindy and I worked on the Childrens Emergency Transport team many years ago. Cindy was one of the most organized and efficient transport nurses I have ever known. I know she will be missed by family and friends, but her legacy to me is in the excellent way she did her job. All of the many pediatric patients were better for being under her care.

To the Koets family and to Tony, from all of us at Flight For Life Colorado;
Cindy was truly a bright star among us.  She was unfailingly cheerful, impeccably organized and disciplined, and dedicated to the Newborn Team, to its patients and their families.  She brought calm, fairness, and optimism to that team, and we are all better people for having known and worked with her.  We miss her very much, and over the next few months will work on ways that best honor her and all that she gave us.  We pray for peace for you during this sad time, with love from Flight For Life

Cindy, you were one of the greats.  We made a good team running the Pediatric Advanced Life Support course at Children's for years.  You were unfailingly cheery, efficient (all-Universe efficient!), organized, caring, and competent. You never failed to put a smile on my face whenever I saw you. Sadly, I have to work when your funeral is, but I'll never forget your contributions to the health of children, to the hospital, and to the support of your many colleagues. For once a week, since 1981, you sat at my manicure table.  We solved world problems, we laughed, we cried.  I did your makeup for your wedding.  I cannot believe that you are gone.  I consider myself among the fortunate to have been your friend.
