Carol passed away on February 8, 2022. She was surrounded by her family. She battled liver cancer for the last five years. Throughout her illness she maintained her irresistible sense of humor. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards with family and always a meal was involved.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years,Tim Fernandez; children Richard Gabaldon and Jay (Devyn) Gabaldon; stepdaughters Vanessa (Judy)Fernandez-Barron and Adrianna (Brian) Rico; siblings Josie (Eric) Larson and Heron (Jan) Gonzalez; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins
She is also preceded in death by her first husband Gerald Gabaldon
Her memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Steve Moran. It will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday March 5th at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery, 7777W. 29th Ave. Wheat Ridge CO 80033 which will be her final resting place.
