Carol Witwer Worth, 83, passed away December 18, 2016. She was born in Oak Park Illinois to Stow and Clara Witwer, but was raised on the SLW Ranch near Greeley and lived in Colorado her entire life. She graduated from Colorado College with a degree in Philosophy before entering the work force where she met and married her husband Wilber (Bill). When not devoting her time to raising her children Carol was heavily involved in local service groups and charitable organizations including being a charter member of SERTOMA, Acting Director of Inter-Faith Task Force, Board of Directors of Meals on Wheels and was also involved with Western Welcome Week and the National Western Shock Show among many others.
Carol is survived by her four children, Mike (Jenny) Worth, Brian (Penny) Worth, David (Connie) Worth and Steve Worth; her five grandchildren, Nathan (Emily), Andrew and Aaron Worth , Hannah (Jake) Westra, Hillary (Josh) Bateman; and one Great-grandchild, Wyatt Westra. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill on April 14, 2006.
A celebration of her life will be held at Columbine United Church in Littleton, CO, on January 15, 2017 at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to TLC Meals On Wheels or a charity of your choice. Arrangements under the direction of Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, Cemetery & Arboretum, Wheat Ridge, CO.
