Carol was a homemaker, childcare provider, and a proud, long-time member of VASA, a Swedish fraternal group.
Carol loved to cook and bake for everyone. She spent many hours in her garden and had a gorgeous yard year after year. Her favorite pastimes were reading, spending time with family, and traveling by ship. Carol and her husband, Richard, sailed the Rhine river, cruised to Alaska, and visited the Caribbean.
Carol’s daughters and grandchildren loved to visit the aquarium, botanic gardens, the zoo, and tried every tea house in the state.
Carol is survived by her husband, Richard. Two daughters, Christine Collins and Tifiny Jennings. She has four grandchildren; Tanner, Torsten, Tess, and Sadie.
Carol has two brothers, Ted Nyberg and Rick Nyberg, preceded by their parents Bror and Anna Nyberg.
