

Birdella Wallett, age 70, passed away September 14th, 2012 from congestive heart failure. Birdella was born on March 22, 1942, in Denver, Colorado. Birdella is survived by daughters Shellene Kay Kraft and Kimberly Ann Bolton; five grand children, Sarah Ann Khwajazada, Shereen Anisa Khwajazada, John Akram Khwajazada, Brian Ahmad Khwajazada, and Emily Elizabeth Bolton; one great-granddaughter, Kelina Yasmine Khwajazada; sister Juanita Carlson (Don Nielson); niece Denise Lindemanis and nephew Mark Carlson. Birdella was predeceased by mother Anna Dutton, father Shelburn Flood, sister Virginia Dillie (James Dillie) and nephews Robert McDonald and Russell Carlson.
Birdella's early years were spent in the Denver metro area and briefly in Seattle, Washington. Before her stroke in 1994, Birdella enjoyed volunteering at her daughter’s schools, working in her garden, tending her flowers, needlework and ceramics. After 1994, Birdella enjoyed playing Bingo, decorating her house for the holidays, especially Christmas, and most of all, spending time with her children, grand children, and great-grand daughter.
Visitation on Tuesday between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion of Reflection, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO.
