Betty is survived by grandson Robert T. Pence and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Richard Harold "Dick" Pence, children Thomas Chambers Pence, Lawrence Ray Pence, Jack Randolph Pence, Mary Carolyn Pence; grandchildren Jennifer Lee Pence, Richard Randolph Pence, Justin Thomas Pence; siblings Jack Miller Chambers and Merilene Chambers Page and parents Sidney Richard and Verlie Agnes Miller Chambers. Although she suffered a lot of loss in her life, Betty kept hope and love in her heart and a positive cheerful attitude. She was a delight to be around. Betty's memorial service will be at Sterling House, a place she called home, at 1:30 pm on Monday, Oct. 13, 2014. Following the services, guests will be invited to share some angel food cake, Betty's favorite!
