My Beautiful Grandma,

Thank you for the love and memories which I will keep in my heart forever. The memories of eating Shoofly Pie, making Christmas cookies with you, dressing up in the costume jewelry you saved for me, and swinging in the big swing on your back porch, just to name a few. You were an incredible mentor and the best grandma a girl could ask for. Your stunning beauty, grace, sense of humor and caring nature make me feel so honored to call you my grandma.

Dear Mom, thank you for your warmth, kindness, sense of humor and your optimism. I love how you could change a situation around by saying "and now, on a happier note!..." You saw only the good in people, and I have been blessed and inspired by this for all of the 25 years I've known you. Thank you beyond words for bringing Brent into this world, he is the most wonderful, loving husband anyone could ever hope for. Thank you for always making me feel loved and cared for in this wonderful family.  Thank you for giving me such a great example of what a wonderful Grandmother can be like, and for welcoming my children and my grandson into the fold. Even though I was not your daughter, you made me feel welcomed into the family. Your advice, suggestions, family recipes and love meant more than you could have realized. Your antics always made me laugh and your love for our kids warmed my heart. You will truly be missed here on earth. I know that you are at the Lord's table now. Have a piece of wedding cake with Jesus. I love you.

To my wonderful charismatic grandmother, 

Words cannot describe effectively the presence you had amongst our family in character and soul . The way you livened up a room with your funny personality and warm loving touch I will always remember. I know I am a better person today because of you and your influence upon me, my father,  and the extended family I am blessed with. I will always remember the fun times I had as a child playing with you and Grandpa down in Denver. I was lucky enough to really know you,  when many people do not get the gift of knowing their grandparents at all. We will cherish you in your memory knowing you are in a better place with the Lord.

Dear Bruce and Family,
Betty was such a beautiful, gracious, kind woman and I loved her as if she had been my own mother.  I feel blessed that she was a part of my life and will cherish my memories of her always.

We are so sad to hear of Grandma Betty's passing. I am so glad we got to see her at Elise's birthday party. She was such a wonderful warm person. Our condolences to Bruce and the rest of her family.

Bruce and Family,
Betty was a wonderful person, always laughing and smiling. The first time we met you two was on a trip with the "Golden Agers." We seemed to click right off the bat. We went to the "Sweetheart Dinner" every year together. We enjoyed the Advent and Lenten suppers together and the Christmas Party at the Double Tree.
