I have many special memories of my Aunt Bettie One of the earliest ones was how  kind she always was to everyone. When I was a young girl. I had a  Barbie doll that I loved to play with. My Aunt Bettie was a great seamstress and noticed I didn’t have  too many clothes for my doll and  made me some. I loved all the pretty clothes she made for my doll. She really made a great impression on me at that time in my life. My mother Jeanne Fiscus and Aunt Bettie were very close and always stayed in touch. They would meet for lunch once a month at Country Buffet with all of their cousins who were still living at that time.  They would all share memories and stories that would make everyone laugh and cry.
 Rick and I want to send our love  and heart felt sympathy and condolences to  all of Bettie’s beloved family and friends. We will miss her beautiful smile and  sweet spirit🙏💜We know she is now in heaven with Jesus and having a beautiful reunion will all of her family who went before her. We will never forget her. Aunt Bettie was one of those people that made a strong imprint on so many peoples lives. Her smile was so beautiful and genuine. One of the things I admired about Aunt Bettie was her strength to take on new things, usually at an age where others would have chosen to slow down or step back. I loved that she learned Spanish to better communicate with the folks in her neighborhood to sell her Avon. I am super proud of her choosing to advocate for and speak up about the changes in her neighborhood. She was kind, smart and a good friend to my husband John (her nephew). They both enjoyed their phone conversations about the family and the family tree. She will be missed but never forgotten. 

I have known Bettie Cram for over 14 years.  She is my dear friend and I have a deep and abiding love and respect for her.  Bettie has played the piano for the Worship services at Pilgrim Congregational Church of Denver (EFCA) since 1964, she loves her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ deeply.  I could depend on her to play for weddings,  funerals, and other important occasions with skill and joy.  I drove Bettie to Niwot to see her sister Gene on two occasions and we have gone to several Museums, lots of neighborhood meetings, and out to eat hundreds of times.  Bettie is a gracious, intelligent, well spoken, and fun person.  As a leader of Pilgrim Church she showed herself to be comprehensive as an advocate for Pilgrim Church and a sincere lover of people.  When I first met Bettie she would bound up the stairs of Pilgrim Church often jumping over one or two steps with great power, grace, and confidence.  On the last Sunday she came to Pilgrim Church for Worship, I needed to carefully help her  traverse each stair with great care and help her into the passenger seat of Matthew Ichikawa's truck.  I will sincerely miss Bettie Cram, she died in her sleep with a smile on her face--fitting for such a wonderful and noble soul. Because of the love of Jesus Christ and His faithfulness, we will see Bettie in Glory--playing piano no doubt.
