Beth “Tosh” Brannon of Genesee, Colorado passed away peacefully on February 24th at 70 years of age with her family by her side at her beautiful mountain home after a 35-year battle with rheumatoid arthritis and related complications. Tosh was born to JD and Barbara McIntosh on June 14, 1952, in Denver, Colorado. She was the proud mother of Robyn Speirn of Lafayette, Colorado, and loving wife of Gary Brannon. She is also survived by her sister Gwen (Stephen) Pemberton, her Aunt June McIntosh, cousin Don (Jennifer) McIntosh Jr, and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband’s parents, and her niece, Jessica.
Tosh was a courageous and spirited woman who worked hard and provided an adventurous life for Robyn, taking her to Alaska where they frequently took to the open road in the early morning hours to watch the Aurora Borealis which was usually followed by breakfast out. Later, they moved to Santiago, Chile where they enjoyed learning about a different culture and fell in love with the land and people.
She met Gary while working at the Los Alamos National Lab in New Mexico. They moved to Houston for work where Tosh began her career with Dow Chemical. They lived in the Houston area until she agreed to move back home to Colorado to spend the rest of her life in the mountains she so dearly loved.
A memorial service will be held May 27th at her home in Genesee. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her memory to either Arthritis National Research Foundation or Project Cure. https://curearthritis.org/ https://projectcure.org/
