98, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2017 in Lakewood, Colorado. She is survived by her loving family; son Allan Heimbegner, son Eugene Heimbegner, daughter Sylvia Shonk, daughter Janet Battison, daughter Patricia Keller, and daughter Diane Heimbegner, sister Regina Cloninger, also 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Cora and John Hughes.
Visitation Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 5pm to 8pm, at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. Services Friday, December 15, 2017, 10am at Olinger Crown Hill Chapel of Peace, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033. She will laid to rest at a later date in Brule Cemetery, Brule, Nebraska.
