Barbara L. Parry

Barbara was born on October 25, 1925 to Robert and Mary (Bryce) McCulloch in Durango, Colorado. Barbara had three brothers: Steve, Jack, and Tom.

After two years at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Barbara went to the University of Colorado in Boulder where she graduated in 1951 with a bachelor of science degree in Medical Records. After graduation, Barbara worked for more than 50 years in the Medical Records Department first at Presbyterian Hospital in Denver and then later at Aurora Presbyterian Hospital.

On May 17, 1955, Barbara married Gerald Edwin Parry. Barbara and Gerald had four children: John, Douglas, Marilyn, and Richard.

Barbara loved spending time with her family, going on fishing trips together, family vacations to Durango, or simply spending time together at home. In her later years, Barbara loved spending time with her nine grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Gerald, her mother Mary and father Robert, and brothers Steve, Jack and Tom. Barbara is survived by her children John Parry, Douglas Parry, Marilyn Coming, and Richard Parry, her grandchildren Kyle Parry, Tess Parry, Sean Parry, Max Parry, Jack Parry, Laney Parry, Megan Parry, Bryan Coming, Matthew Coming, and also her great grandson Owen Parry.
