Anne Margaret Hatfield changed her address from Denver to Heaven on April 9, 2015. She was born in Hudson, Wyoming to parents William and Margaret Chetterbock in 1925. Anne recently celebrated her 90th birthday surrounded by friends and family. She leaves behind children James (Sheryl), Diane (Michael) and Brooke, sisters Dorothy and Donna, grandchildren Matthew (Sarah), Marcus, Justin (Susanna) and Danielle, and great-grandsons James and Gerry. Preceeding her in death were her beloved husband Carl (married 42 years), first son Gregory, brothers Lou, Michael, Paul and Bill and sisters Sophie and Emma. Anne was the eldest of 9 children. After graduating from high school (at the top of her class) in Lander, she worked at Hill Field in Utah during The War, then went to nurses training at Mercy Hospital in Denver, where she met the man who would become her husband. Anne lived a full life nursing, raising a family, volunteering, working and serving as legal assistant to Carl. She traveled through Europe several times, and many states here at home with sister-in-law Frannie and her niece Vicky. Right up to her death, she did the NY Times crossword daily in ink! Anne was enthusiastic about many crafting activities, scrapbooking, flower pressing, and ran many lucrative garage sales. Watch out for her hot glue gun! Gardening was in her blood, from the time she was little, growing up on the farm. Services to be held Saturday May 16, contact James at 720-771-8914 for details.
