Ann Irene Maxfield, age 73, of Lakewood Colorado, entered into heaven on January 23, 2023. Ann aka "Annie" was a hard worker and proudly served 33 years at Terumo BCT in Lakewood, CO, and recently was a much-loved bartender at the American Legion Post 17 in Edgewater, CO. Annie made friends wherever she would go and never met a stranger. Annie’s family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors were very special to her and everyone knew her by her caring and very generous heart.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary W Maxfield, her mother, Harriet Schick, and her father, Warren Schick, all of whom she loved and missed. Annie always had pets, but her favorite and most recent was a spunky little dog named Daisy Mae. They went everywhere together and were quite the pair!
Annie has three devoted children: Wendi Adams, Don Navarro and Michael Jo Barcus-Gray. She was known as “Grannie Annie” by her seven beloved grandchildren: Mackenzie, Gabrielle, Ariel, and Connor Adams; Dylan Medina and Gia and Lorelei Barcus-Gray. Annie is survived by her siblings, to whom she was very close- Jim Schick, Carla Price and Lynda Cox.
Her motto was "Always be kind to one another and keep on smiling.” She will be greatly missed by all who knew her!
