It is with broken hearts that we say goodbye to our mother, Evangeline Luanna Cromwell who passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 7th, 2017 at Digby General Hospital. She was born in Danvers on April 17, 1931 a daughter of the late Martin and Myrtle (Hatfield) Cromwell. Evangeline was a kind, patient and loving woman to everyone who knew her. She loved playing cards, talent shows, yardsales, watching Family Feud, Price is Right and going to country concerts (especially George Jones) with her sisters and niece, Pauline. She also loved her fur babies, Ally, Toshie and Sally. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charlie; brothers, Alliston, Emerson, Vincent; sisters, Mildred, Alvado, Myrtle “Moonie” and Guida. She leaves behind daughters, Simone (Jack), Joie (Hank), Julie (Bertrand), Sherry (Lee), Jean; sons, Arlie, Allan (Marilyn), Andy and granddaughter, Shelly and grandson, Charles (Simone) who she raised as her own. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews especially Brenda , Danny, Annie Cromwell; god-daughter, Bonita; sister in-law, Grace and brother in-law, Clifford. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A special thank you to all her Doctors, Nurses and staff on the 2nd floor at Digby General Hospital. Visitation will be 7-9 pm on Sunday, November 12 at Jayne’s Funeral Home – Weymouth North (902-245-2525). Funeral Mass will be 10am, Monday, November 13 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Southville.
