Loretta Grace Allen Todd

A daughter of the late Ezra C. and Flossie Williams Allen, she was born on June 2, 1923, in Wheeling, West Va. She moved to Augusta County where she attended school and made her home in Waynesboro for more than 60 years.

Mrs. Todd had formerly worked for Metro Pants in Bridgewater and DuPont in Waynesboro. She was a member of Blue Ridge Chapel Church of the Brethren and attended Wayne Hills Baptist Church.

Her first husband, Walter P. Quick preceded her in death in Dec. 1952. On October 3, 1955, she married Lawrence B. Todd who preceded her in death on June 11, 2006. Also preceding her in death was her great-great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Turner; her granddaughter, Faryn Clark; and two brothers, William L. Allen and Earl P. Allen.

Surviving is one sister, Josephine Sipes and husband, Robert of Melbourne, FL; six children, Joseph M. Quick of Crimora, Brenda Q. McCauley of Henrico, Wilma Morris and husband, David, of Grottoes, Lawrence “Larry” Todd and wife, Imagine of Waynesboro, Linda L. Day and husband, Donnie, of Grottoes, and Wanda L. Wallace and husband, Mike of Waynesboro; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 7th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Lindsey Funeral Home in Weyers Cave. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery at Mt. Solon.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
