Janet Pauline (Sipe) Wampler

She was born on March 11, 1932 in New Hope and was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Daisy Pearl Roadcap Sipe.

Janet graduated from Wilson Memorial High School in 1950. She was a homemaker and was a photographer for a company in Waynesboro. She formerly attended Middle River Church of the Brethren.

On December 30, 1950, she married Claude Leroy Wampler, who preceded her in death on March 17, 2013. A sister, Catherine Sipe and brother, Leonard Sipe also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son, Kelly W. Wampler and wife, Tracey Lynn of Garland, Maine; a daughter, Janna R. Shank of Grottoes; seven grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren; her brothers, Bobby, Bill and Earl Sipe; her sisters, Wanda Sutton, Linda Gibson, Donna Hogge and Shirley Humphries.

A graveside service will be held 2 pm, Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Middle River Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Pastor Frank Hall officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
