Shirley Lenore Lund

Shirle is predeceased by her husband, Odie in 1984 and her parents, Harold (Pete) and Cora (Tot) Wilken and a brother, Garnet Wilken.

Three generations of Wilkens have operated the Post Office in Yellow Grass. Together Odie and Shirle ran it for 21 years. After retirement they enjoyed more curling, travel and their new home. Shirle was a devoted member of the United Church, being a member of the choir and church group for many years.

She loved sports and enjoyed curling with many ladies teams. She was also an original member of the Drop-In Centre in Yellow Grass and for several decades enjoyed taking part there.

In 2011 Shirle moved to Liberty Manor and then to Hilltop Manor in Weyburn. She was very grateful for the wonderful care and friendship there the past 6 years. Shirle always appreciated her many relatives

and friends throughout her lifetime.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Fletcher Funeral Chapel

Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Pastor Jody Pfeifer officiating. Interment will take place in Yellow Grass Cemetery, Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan.
