Rita was predeceased by her spouse, Mervin Smith; parents, Henry and Ottilia Dieno; brothers and sisters, Henry (Ella) Dieno, Emily (Fred) Frey, Fred (Erna) Dieno, Otto (Margaret) Dieno, Bill (Alvena) Dieno, Dean (Russel) Buyck, Art (Irene) Dieno, Ella (Emil) Kaminski, Rose (Jack) Shields, and Alfred Dieno; in laws, James & Marie Smith; brother in law, Don Smith; sister in law, Joyce Lynch.
Rita is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Brian) Schwanke; grandchildren, Britteny, Rebecca, and Justin; sister, Lorraine (Bob) Jensen; sisters in law, Bev Dieno, and Pearl Keller; brother in law, Ken (Terry) Smith; brother in law, James Lynch; sister in law, Lorna Smith as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.
A Private Family Graveside Service and Interment took place at the Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, Saskatchewan.
