Rita was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Simon; husband, Howard Hanson; grandson, Michael Hanson & granddaughter, Stacey-Jo Hanson; son, Wesley (Faye) Hanson; brothers, Mervyn Simon & Frank (Luella) Simon and sister, Mae (Cecil) Huard.
Rita will be lovingly remembered by her son, Wayde (Marie) Hanson of Gull Lake, SK and children, Terra, Kimberley & Crystal & families; son, Lyle (Nora) Hanson of Medicine Hat, AB and children, Curtis and Megan & families and Mathew Sonier; Wes’s children, Jeffrey & his family and Tiffany; brother, Leonard (Reta) Simon as well as many nieces, nephews & friends.
A Private Family Funeral Service took place on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Fletcher Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Father Francis Plaparampil officiating. Interment followed in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
Donations in memory of Rita may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
