Marlene Rose Luchenski

1935 ~ 2018

Marlene Rose Luchenski was born in Halbrite, Saskatchewan on February 10, 1935. She passed away suddenly on December 7, 2018 at the age of 83. Marlene was a beautiful soul who enjoyed art, painting, traveling and journaling as well as time with her family and friends. She was devoted to her church and enjoyed volunteering her time for causes important to her. Most important to Marlene, was the love of her life Tom, and she remained his faithful and loving co-pilot throughout their many adventures. Marlene leaves to mourn her husband, Tom; nine children and step children (plus spouses) and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Marlene’s sister Donna Cooper was her best friend and confidante through life and their relationship was so very special. Tom, Donna and Marlene’s many family members and friends will miss her dearly. The Memorial Service was held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lucky Lake Community Hall, Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan with Reverend Hoeun Lee officiating. Reception and fellowship followed. Interment will take place at Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, Saskatchewan at a later date. Donations in memory of Marlene may be made to the Lucky Lake United Church at Box 28, Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan S0L 1Z0.
