She was predeceased by her husband, Fred in 2011, grandson, Roger Malley, brothers, Gilbert and Henry Bell, brothers-in-law, Wilfred (Ivy) and Melville Malley (Ida); sisters-in-law Thelma (Jim Wilson), Lorraine (Dan Jacobsen) and Aldene. Margaret was born in Nanpanton, Leicestershire England and came to Canada at age 6, along with her mother after the death of her father, Arthur Poyser. Her mother married Archie Bell of Cedoux. Margaret attended Waverley School, Weyburn Collegiate Institute and the University of Saskatchewan where she graduated in 1938 with a Bachelor of Household Science Degree. She married Fred on November 2, 1938 and they farmed at Yellow Grass until 1990. They had moved from the farm to Yellow Grass in 1972 and remained there until 2008 when they moved to Weyburn. Margaret was active in the community, especially in the United Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Waverley Ladies Aid. Margaret was always a willing volunteer and had a smile on her face. She never complained, even in her last two months when life was becoming difficult. She liked to play the piano and dancing was always a big part of her life with Fred. They were members of the Dancing Seniors Old Time Dance Group from 1987 to 2008. They also enjoyed square dancing and pattern dancing. Margaret and Fred loved camping in their camper van, the family, the farm and the community, but their greatest love was for each other. Thanks to Alex and his staff of Parkway Care Home who looked after Margaret with warmth and compassion, especially in her final days. Visitation will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Fletcher Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, Saskatchewan. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 1:30 pm from Grace United Church, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Reverend M. Barnabas officiating.
