This comes as a very sad message I stumbled on in Facebook.   I am so sorry to hear of Lana's passing.  When I joined CUCS in '87 as her colleague, she was the one of the first people I met and one I admired so much.  Lana really was 'that person' who provided everyone with what they needed to work with ease and flow in the department.  She was soooo professional and upbeat all the time.   She was also so much fun in any social events.  I think I saw her last at a Rider game years ago.  I was so happy to hear that the right people entered her life, at the right time, so she built a wonderful family.  Please accept my condolences  and you grieve her loss. I met Lana while working at Credit Union Central many years ago and was fortunate to stay in touch with her over the years. We spent a day with Gregg and Lana in Bucerías a couple of years ago and had a great time even though we hadn’t seen each other in a few years. Lana had such an easy going personality that it was so easy to reconnect. We had planned to do it again but didn’t get the opportunity. Thinking of your family during this difficult time.

I met Lana (and Val) at W.H. Shooters in Regina.  We shared so many fun times and laughs, including Craven.  We all celebrated as each of us found our "man". Greg, and kids, my heart aches for your loss.  Lana was a very special person.  Xoxoxo

I lost touch with Lana over the years but I feel lucky to count her as a friend. I met her and Val in Regina  (probably at Shooters) and we became fast friends. I will remember her smile, her laugh, her kind heart and especially her wonderful sense of  humour. My sincere condolences to her entire family. I remember Lana as one of the most welcoming colleagues that I met when I first started working at Credit Union Central. It can be intimidating starting a new job, but when I met Lana in the lunchroom during my first week, she made me feel so comfortable. Her laugh could be heard from afar and easily identified by all who knew her. It would bring a smile to your face even if you had no idea what she was laughing about. Years later, Lana and I crossed paths again when both of our daughters were dancing in competitions. I remember hearing that wonderful laugh from afar in a noisy dressing room at a competition in Yorkton. I turned around and it was Lana!! We had a big hug and caught up. Lana, you were a bright light in the lives of many. The world is a better place because of you. See you again when it is my turn. Love to all of Lana’s family and and close friends.

My condolences on the loss of my dear friend, Lana.  

Lana was one of the most positive individuals that I had the pleasure of working with at Credit Union Central.  She was a ray of sunshine and always game to join or organize a social, particularly if it included dancing and country tunes.  

Lana's search for Mr. Right was successful when she met Greg, the love of her life.  When she had children she embraced and loved the role and beamed with pride at all accomplishments.  Lana excelled at many roles  (friend, advisor, sister, daughter, wife, mother) and she will be dearly missed.

Memories??  Where to start – hanging out all through high school, curling in Provincials with Lana as our skip… Camping in the Black Hills… Valentines dates when not a man in sight…. Being “buddies” while living in Weyburn and Regina – actually arranging for me to keep her place in Weyburn when she moved to Regina…. Receiving calls in the middle of the night to drive her to the hospital for stitches and cleaning up an apartment with blood on every wall – would never dream it was all from a less than one inch cut on a finger…. She ran the entire place looking for a towel and left a trail on every wall…. We laughed in the aftermath for a LONG time…..  Her wonderful smile, sense of adventure and humor will be remember and the stories should be shared for years to come……..

Share the stories Greg, Morgan, Brayden and all the extended family (too many to list). This keeps her with you always!

As cousins Lana and I grew up together, played together, went to school together.  As adults we travelled together ( Waikiki ‘83 is a special memory) and she visited my husband Ric and I when we lived in Australia.  Lana had such a huge heart and a sense of fun. I will miss her so much. RIP Lana

I have many memories of Lana…. Room mates, my first jalapeño experience, beautiful smile, but… the best memory is a FRIEND.   Thank you Lana for our friendship.   You will be missed by many, but I know your presence will be felt at every occasion.  I am sure you are lighting up the room with your smile in heaven.

I worked with Lana at Credit Union Central and she was a hoot, full of energy and laughter and a zest for life.  She was so excited when she met Greg, marriage and family were so important to her.  She was actually the first person I asked to babysit my 3 month old son (31 years ago), she was just that kind of person.

Lana.  I will remember her as the lady with the infectious laugh and zest for life.  Was hoping to get to know you better when we retired , but that was not to be…..God needed you sooner.  Last summer I needed an extra cup of flour to make my cinnamon buns.  You came to the rescue , meeting me half way down the road , carrying a ziplock baggy full of white powder.  It makes me giggle every time I think of you … your willingness to help others was always apparent … even though it looked like you were smuggling drugs to the neighbors.  
Your memory will live on in the lives of your children… in their smiles…. In their hearts.   We will miss you at Katepwa Michele place… your memory will forever live there. You will not be forgotten dear Lana …. 

I knew Lana from our days at Credit Union Central.  Lana always had a smile that was infectious and an enthusiasm for everything she did.  Her family and friends were her life.  She was so proud of her family and will always  be there looking down and guiding them.  Rest In Peace Lana.  You will be missed but never forgotten.  Karen Stevens. 

I met Lana at SK TOPS 2030 WEYBURN CHAPTER!!  Her immediate friendliness put me at ease on our first meeting!  Our brief friendship is a memory I will always remember.
