Jim was predeceased by his grandparents, Arthur and Annie Dempsey and Peewee and Alice LeBlanc.
Jim will be lovingly remembered by his children, Christopher Kasper of Edmonton, AB, Ramone Dempsey of Weyburn, SK and James Dempsey Jr of Weyburn, SK; the mother of his children (Ramone and James), Leslie Dempsey of Weyburn, SK; his father, James N. Dempsey; mother, Lorrie Bawn (Donald Grant); two brothers, Kelly Dempsey and his daughter, Jessica and Kevin Dempsey (Shannon Theriault) and their children, Karissa and Marshall; sister, Desirea (Benjamin) Brant as well as aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from Church of Christ, 1115 1st Ave NE, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with John Smith officiating.

A Memorial Service & Interment will be also held in Vancouver, British Columbia at a later date.
