Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Johnston; son, Lloyd Johnston; son in law, David Struble; granddaughter, Tanya Struble; sisters, Jean (Donald) Hughes and Betty (Bernie) Tremblay; brother, Russel McDonald; in laws, Willie (Jane) Johnston; sister and brother in laws, Jean (Leo) Bestrop, Bill (Mary) Johnston, Bob (Merle) Johnston, Sam (Evelyn) Johnston and Jessie (Ellwood) Johnston; nephews and nieces, Bob Bestrop, Elaine Carlberg, Ray Johnston, Bruce Johnston, Dorothy Taylor and Danny Hughes and many friends.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Lois (Larry) Cronan; daughter in law, Marlene Johnston (Jim Spiers); grandchildren, Darryl Struble (Carol Lehne) and his children: Cordell, Arianna and Daisha and their mother, Laura Struble; Brent (Amy) Johnston and their children: James, Jordana & Eric; Brad (Nicole) Johnston and their children: Aven & Lexi; George (Wendy) Struble and their son: Eddie; Genelle (John) Champ and their children: Brayden, Brodie & Brooklyn; great grandsons, Jax and Oliver; extended family Tina (Todd) Jordan; Tammy (Mark) McOuat; Sherrie (Sheldon) Nelson; Troy (Christine) Cronan; Brandi Cronan (Justin Murrell) as well as other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Andrew’s United Church, Creelman, Saskatchewan with Monica Dayman officiating. Interment will take place at Golden Gates Cemetery, Creelman, Saskatchewan. Lunch to follow at the Creelman Memorial Hall.
